On Thursday, June 15, 2023, at approximately 3:23 p.m., Blaine County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a UTV crash in Muldoon Canyon near the intersection of Martin Canyon east of Bellevue, Idaho.
Crash scene investigation determined that a 44-year-old male from Southlake, Texas, was driving a black Polaris Razor Pro side by side with a 52-year-old female, also of Southlake, Texas. The driver stated they were traveling east from Bellevue when lost control of the UTV and left the roadway on the south side of the road. The Razon Pro dropped down a 10-foot embankment and rolled one time in the creek channel landing right side up.
The passenger was transported by air ambulance to Eastern Idaho Medical Center in Idaho Falls for her injuries. The driver did not report any injuries. Both occupants of the UTV were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. The UTV sustained substantial damages and had to be towed from the scene.
