On Saturday, September 2, 2023, at approximately 4:40 PM, the Blaine County Sheriff’s Office arrested William R. Butler, a 72-year-old male from Hailey, Idaho, for Attempted Murder under Idaho State Code 18-4001 and 18-306.
The victim in this case, Michael A. Bosse, a 34-year-old male from Hailey, Idaho, was flown to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, Idaho on September 2, 2023, and was later transferred to the University of Utah Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.
No further information will be released at this time.
